Pictures and video from Snow Day II

I uploaded some pictures that Angie and I took of the kids outside playing in the snow. The snow started falling on Tuesday afternoon (2/3) so Angie had them outside after school to take advantage of the opportunity. Of course, by the time I got home they were sick of the snow and were already inside.

But it kept snowing overnight and I didn't have to work so I was able to get out there with the twins in the morning (see previous post). Since Angie didn't come outside with me, it was hard to shoot video of the kids tubing since I was also the designated launcher. But I got a couple of decent vids (see below).

If you want to check out the pictures we took, just click the Picasa photo stream at the top right corner of this blog or click the link in the first paragraph for the slideshow.

I just have to laugh at your "bowling" form...complete with leg kick at the end!

Oh, and I made my blog private (for reasons you can probably figure out!). I sent an email invite to Angie at her Hotmail account, but let me know if you guys can't get on anymore!

Fairmount Park River Rescue

Went to Fairmount park around 4pm today with the family for a bike ride around the park. As soon as we got there and parked, Dillon said to me, "There's a car in the water!" A minute later, he said, "Someone is inside!" It was the craziest thing I've ever witnessed. Thank God someone was there with a tire iron and a few guys swam out and busted the back window open!  One of the guys said he was her husband (he said this as he walked right past me).  We all felt completely helpless. I wanted to jump in and do something but I had nothing to break glass with. One witness said she saw the car accelerate into the river...  We just don't know if it was intentional. Crazy Easter!

Valentine's Day 2019

The Hampton/Doyle families got together for the 11th annual Valentine's Day Dinner.  This year it was our turn to host the meal, so we kept it fairly simple with some spaghetti & meatballs, and some cresent rolls.  The kids played video games and hung out in the basement while we chatted at the dining room table and got caught up.  Always a fun evening! Here is a collage of some photos we snapped... <<-Mark-->>
